This scheme is available for:

✔ SC

✔ ST

✔ OBC

✔ Minority communities
* The family must be **economically weak / BPL category**.
* The girl’s name must be registered on the **Samagra Portal**.
* Widows, divorced or abandoned women can also benefit in case of remarriage.

## **3️⃣ Benefits (Financial Assistance)**

The government provides approximately **₹55,000** in total, which includes:

* Around **₹49,000–₹50,000** transferred directly to the bride’s bank account.
* **₹6,000** to the organizer for the mass marriage event.

  ## **4️⃣ How to Apply?**

  * **Municipal Corporation / Municipality / Nagar Parishad** (for urban areas)
  
  Process:
  Get the application form from the local office.
  Fill in the details and attach required documents (Aadhaar, Samagra ID, income certificate/BPL card, age proof, bank passbook).
  Submit the form.
  Verification is done by officials.
