- Post Code-01: Scientific Assistant-B (Medical Laboratory Technician) Essential Qualifications: BSc with minimum 50% marks + one year Diploma in Medical Lab. Tech. (D.M.L.T/M.L.T) with 60% marks. OR BSc in Medical Lab Tech. with minimum 50% marks Desirable: Preferably 2 (two) years’ experience in a research laboratory or possessing a proficiency certificate or experience of similar nature. Age: Minimum 18 but not more than 40 years for Gen-PwBD category, 43 years for OBC-PwBD category and 45 years for SC-PwBD/ST-PwBD category as on 17.12.2025 i.e. born on or after 18.12.1985 for GenPwD category, 18.12.1982 for OBC-PwBD category and 18.12.1980 for SCPwBD/ST-PwBD category (both days inclusive). Job Profile: To conduct all laboratory examination including hematological, biochemistry, microbiological examination. To operate hematology analyzer, semi auto and auto analyser for biochemistryTo operate ELISA instruments, urine analyzer etc. To collect blood sample independently from all patients. To raise indent of laboratory. To maintain all records and register pertaining to the laboratory. To maintain the equipment in laboratory for smooth functioning. To observe Universal aseptic precautions strictly and ensure compliance of Bio Medical Waste Management guidelines. To attend to emergency calls when required. Should have working knowledge of computer like Microsoft word, excel, power point etc. Any other responsibilities as and when assigned by the competent authority.
- Post Code-02: Scientific Assistant-B (Clinical Psychologist) Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Clinical Psychology with minimum 50% marks in the last examination. Age: Minimum 18 but not more than 35 years for ST category i.e. born on or after 18.12.1990 for ST category (both days inclusive).
- Job Profile: Providing psychological counselling to the students, employees and their dependent when required. Maintaining records of counselling provided to the patients. Identifying high risk patients detected during counselling and intimating to the authority. Follow up patients under psychiatry treatment and counselling and monitor their improvement. To provide and arrange talk / group counselling on different issues common among student community, employees and residents. Periodical evaluation of student’s mental health etc. Coordination with family members of students under psychological issues. Any other responsibilities as and when assigned by the competent authority.
- Post Code-03: Junior Hindi Translator Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree from recognized university/institute in Hindi/English, with English/Hindi as a main subject at degree level OR Master’s degree from recognized university in any subject with Hindi and English as main subjects at degree level OR Master’s degree from recognized university in any subject with Hindi/English medium and English/Hindi as a main subject at degree level OR Master’s degree from recognized university in Hindi or English or in any other subject with Hindi/English medium with English/Hindi as main subject or a medium of an examination at the degree level OR Bachelor’s degree from recognized university/institute with Hindi and English as main subject or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a main subject plus recognized Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or 2 years’ experience of translational work from Hindi to English and vice versa in central/state government offices including government of India undertaking. Age: Minimum 18 but not more than 28 years as on 17.12.2025 for UR category i.e. born on or after 18.12.1997 (both days inclusive).
- Job Profile: The candidate will be responsible for overall functioning of the Hindi cell of the institute. All the translation work to Hindi and vice versa will be carried out by the candidate. The candidate will compile all the data related to Hindi and will be involved in liaising with the nodal ministry/department for onward submission of report and data. The candidate will be involved in the activities for wide publicity of Hindi as an official language in NISER and wherever deemed applicable. The candidate will facilitate the representatives from the ministry/department during inspection and prepare different sections/schools before it. The candidate will represent NISER in various meetings/workshops/conferences related to Hindi as and when required with the permission of the competent authority. Any other job as assigned by the competent authority from time to time.Â

Selection Process
- Selection Procedure for Post Code-01 and 02: Stage-I: Trade Test Trade Test (Qualifying in Nature) is mandatory for both Scientific Assistant-B posts Stage-II: Written Test Written Test (60%) weightage for both Scientific Assistant-B posts Stage-III: Personal Interview Personal Interview (40%) weightage for both Scientific Assistant-B posts Cut off marks is 30% in stage-I and stage-II for
- post code-01 and 02 only. There is no cut off marks for stage-III. Selection Procedure for Post Code-03: Stage-I Written Test: (50% weightage) Objective type questions, MCQ in nature. The objective test will comprise of 1. General Hindi 2. General English 3. General Intelligence & Reasoning 4. Quantitative Aptitude Stage-II Written Test: (50% weightage) Descriptive written test consisting of Translation (Hindi to English and English to Hindi), Essay (one each in Hindi and English). Cut off marks is 30% in each stage of written examination for post code-03 only. (Only qualified/shortlisted candidates after each stage will appear in the next stage)Â
